In a season defined by resilience and unity, the St. Croix Falls Girls’ Volleyball Team, under the expert guidance of Coach Stacie Hoff, achieved an extraordinary feat: winning the 2023 WIAA State Championship. Overcoming challenges including injuries and adversity, the team, led by outstanding seniors Kelsey Cooper, Lucy Belisle, and Ayla Schmidt, showcased exceptional skill and determination. Their journey, marked by remarkable individual stories like Loganne Marks’ comeback and Lydia Petersen’s improvement, culminated in a thrilling state championship victory, embodying the spirit of the community and setting an inspiring example of what teamwork and dedication can accomplish.
